This character didn’t leave an impression for me. As a dragon rider though they should be usable.

According to Wikipedia:

Beroan was one of the great Dragon Riders during the golden age of their order. "Beroan" was a name Brom offered to Eragon when Eragon was looking for a name for his dragon.
